DIVANS: garden or lounge, wood & iron.
BEDS: iron, wood cherry, walnut; antique 1800s & 1900s. Day beds both large and small, Chaise longue. Folding beds. Double, French double (1 & half), single, child beds.
MATTRESS & BASE made to measure by on site mattress maker following the French Sommier traditional craft using French ticking.
BEDLINEN: old heavy linen sheets, embroided & simple.
CHEST of DRAWERS: art deco, provenc’al, Dressers small & large. Como wood walnut & others;
CUPBOARDS: wood,oak, cherry & walnut; huge & small. Library Cupboards.
PORTMANTEAU HAT & COAT STANDS: metal ‘20s & ‘60s. Wood with metal or wood knobs: with mirrors and umbrella stands.
TABLES: dinning, kitchen, sidetables, corridor wall tables, bedside tables, garden, iron cafe style.
BUFFETS: Welsh Dressers wood with glass. Porcelain herb & spice drawers. 1800s & 1900s. Deco formica buffet with French bread bin.

FRENCH TRADITIONAL WOOLLEN MATTRESS MAKING all handmade and made to measure by Graham Weaver on site in our new atelier near Cheviot.

All are "fait à la main", hand made.
Made with French ticking selected in France & brought back to NZ. The French ticking is the preferred type as the quality makes for durable life. If you have your own ticking material or wish to use a ticking you have found here in NZ we can use that if it is the necessary width and weight. We can work on that together.
The wool is selected for it's suitability. Graham has a lifetime of experience with wool & shearing. The wool is scoured (washed) in NZ before carding which Graham does himself in preparation for your mattresses.
Your mattress can take up to 4 or 6 days to allow know-how and tradition to be part of the making. See MATTRESS MAKING photos opposite
